Imo running pop-up safety tips to ensure a healthy communication environment

 

 To keep users safety from cyber harassment by detecting suspicious activities, the popular instant messaging app Imo recently launched 'Safety Tips' in it's Android version. As a result of this feature, users can now see some safety tips on the screen if a suspected harasser or harasser tries to communicate with imo users through call or text. 

These safety tips will help users understand the other sides intentions, guide users to change their privacy settings and protect users from harassment.

Imo has possessing condition of the art technology with algorithms to identify suspected harassers in order to ensure a secure user experience. Once a particular caller has been identified as being a harasser, safety tips will automatically appear on the receivers screen after he/she calls a user. In addition, certain users will then be able to view the privacy setting guide on 'Who Can Call Me'. By going to the settings of the app, users can set 'Everyone' or 'My Contacts' as a caller group according to their needs. Users can also do the same for one on one chats and block and report a suspected harasser while receiving safety tips. 

These safety tips are now available in multiple languages, including Bengali and English on Android devices.
